The final day of this holiday, and the day we drive back home to reunite with our families.

The ride
Today was a day of many kilometers, alternating from the smaller tour roads to highway. We left around 09:30 and took the back roads until Malmedy. After that we would only take the highway as fast as possible back home.
A few, including myself, decided to ride a more alternative route, with the idea that this would be more enjoyable and just as fast. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a bit slower, much to the displeasure of the other riders. This, combined with fatigue from the past few days, led to some mutual frustration. So a wise lesson for next time.
Finally, around 17:15 we arrived in Hellendoorn, where the family back home was already waiting for us. After a warm welcome from wife and children, we had a nice chat over a BBQ and a drink.
Around 19:00 we left for home to put the children to bed together. I could then sit at home with my legs up and reminisce about a great motorcycle vacation!
